About Us

KLW Farm was established in 2012. The farm name was inspired by our children, Kate, Layne, & Will.

Our daughter , Kathryn “Kate” is a 19 year old Sophomore at Clemson University, where she is studying to become a Pediatrician.
Our son, Layne is a 16 year old Sophomore at Lebanon High School, where he is 4.0 student and very active in athletics including football and basketball, and many other extracurricular activities.
Our son, William “Will” is a 14 year old 8th grader at Lebanon High School. He too is a 4.0 student and very active in whatever ball is bouncing at the time.

Owners of KLW Farm, Matt & Brandi Jessee

Husband and wife team, Matthew & Brandi Jessee, are the owners and operators of KLW Farm & Kennels. In addition to farming, Matt is also a chiropractor at Highlands Chiropractic & Wellness Clinic in Norton, Va. He is the pastor of Swords Creek Community Baptist Church, and serves the community in many different capacities. His time is limited when it comes to the farm, but he still manages to operate the cattle division. With the help of their children, Brandi takes care of the other aspects of the farm, and is the primary contact for questions.

Family Owned and Operated

It goes without saying, the farm would not be operational without the entire family working together, parents and children alike. We are blessed to have both of our kids sets of grandparents close by as well, who never fail to go above and beyond when anything is needed, be it farm or anything else. The many lessons we can instill in our children through the farm, make all the time, commitment, and compromises well worth it.
